Weslaco Public Safety Building Project - consists of 2 separate buildings. Fire Station 14,600 sf and Police Station 32,600 sf plus 5000sf storage building.
Fire Station consists of 5 apparatus bays, a living area, kitchen, dining, sleeping quarters, and storage for the fire department. The Police Station houses police department - administration, patrol, armory, criminal investigation, internal affairs, community room for the public, courtroom, detention area (jail), and evidence storage facility.
