Description

After years of planning and saving money, the City of Edinburg opened its new Police Training Facility. No longer will officers and cadets have to travel to Harlingen, San Antonio, Austin, and farther to obtain training and continuing education. As part of the Lower Rio Grande Valley Development Council’s Regional Policy Academy, law enforcement officers from other departments will be able to attend courses at the facility. The money the department saves from no longer having to send its officers to other Texas facilities will be used to bring specialized instructors to Edinburg, something that benefits all law enforcement agencies in the region.

ERO's solution is a 9,600 gsf very durable, pragmatic, and efficient space. The facility will be used to train cadets, continuing education, and specialized training. The facility consists of three offices, two classrooms, a grand conference room, a meeting room, a print room, and a break room.
